  4. @NoLuckSeven
Basically since apple doesn’t support flash and html 5 is coming w/ video and audio support, some ppl are claiming flash will die. But others point out that since flash is proprietary, it can be easily evolved and upgraded to keep up with the competition and thus stay relevant.

  10. The reason Veronica doesn’t have as many viruses is because she doesn’t watch pornography.

  11. All Free!:
    Avast Antivirus
    SpywareBlaster (auto block)
    Malwarebytes Antimalware
    SuperAntispyware
    PeerGuardian 2

Spyware Doctor (unpaid for) is fine, but if you use combofix, u need Avenger freeware (beware it can detect things that don’t exist)

Combofix (last resort, use Avenger to take out locked registry entries it adds that detects as terrible things)

MVPS hosts file (for blocking terrible sites)

Do not leave Spyware Doctor running/active/boot, it makes your computer run like garbage.

i dunno, maybe your router breaks at the worst possible time or the virus pwns your internet? :P

  22. supermortalhuman on March 4th, 2010 at 10:21 am

haha amen, I have a router and I still use AV on each box… I’ve gotten less noid about firewalls once I learned the router a bit more. Like most people, routers only occured to my every day use over the past few years, was a dedicated line until then for my households.

I meant a absolutely offline, not plugged in computer though ;)

  23. Avast anti-virus free and It will catch it before it installs and as for norton ,a joke. I just had to work on a laptop that had the new nortons and it allowed the virus “vista anti-virus 2010″ to come on in and take over. it is a crappy anti virus I reckon

  24. You are doing a excellent job here.
